Barbara is a Canadian and Swiss National Certified Figure Skating Coach and Ballet Instructor with over 30 years of international coaching experience. Dedicated to developing athletes from grassroots participation to senior international competition, Barbara is NCCP Provincial Level Certified and currently completing her NCCP National Level certification. She is also accredited as a Coach Assessor for Skills and Artistic Tests up to the Gold level.

Throughout an extensive coaching career spanning Canada, Switzerland, and Poland, Barbara has worked with skaters competing at the senior international level and has served as a coach for the Polish National Team. In addition to guiding high-performance athletes, she is passionate about supporting skaters of all ages and abilities in achieving their personal goals. Her coaching philosophy seamlessly combines technical excellence with artistic expression, fostering confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for figure skating.

In addition to coaching, Barbara has held key leadership roles, including Coach Coordinator and Assistant Director of Skating. In these positions, she contributed significantly to program development, athlete progression planning, and coaching team collaboration. This extensive leadership experience has strengthened her ability to build structured, athlete-centred programs within a positive, safe, and supportive training environment that promotes athlete well-being and long-term success.

Her primary areas of expertise include Freeskate, technical jump and spin development, skating skills, choreography, and artistic performance. She is equally experienced in guiding high-performance athletes pursuing competitive success and recreational skaters striving for personal excellence in a positive and supportive environment.

Prior to her coaching career, Barbara was an elite figure skater and a member of the Polish National Team. Her competitive achievements include being a Senior and Junior Polish National Champion and ranking among the Top Six European figure skaters. She represented her country at major international events, including Moscow Skate (Russia), Prague Skate (Czechoslovakia), Budapest (Hungary), Bulgaria, and the prestigious Pokal der Blauen Schwerter in Karl-Marx-Stadt (former East Germany).
